Hermetic connectors provide an airtight seal and maintain a very high degree of electrical performance under the most extreme conditions.

These connectors have low air leakage (hermeticity), high insulation resistance and high dielectric withstanding voltage. Hermetic connectors are therefore used where superior levels of corrosion resistance, insert retention and resistance to thermal shock is required.

Amphenol Martec manufactures the an extensive range of hermetic circular connectors available.  Apollo Aerospace Components as a franchised stocking distributor and is, therefore, able to provide fully scheduled stocking and ad hoc small batch quantity supply across the complete product range.

We have an extensive range of D38999 Series III in stock.

Along with our dedicated hermetic support .

MIL-DTL-38999 hermetic connectors

Options:

  • Series I, II and III
  • Full Mil qualified
  • Y and N class

Variants:

  • Series III features recessed pins, in this 100% scoop-proof connector which minimizes potential contact damage. With improved interfacial seal design, these connectors have the benefit of moisture resistance and the temperature ranges up to 200°C
  • Series II features lightweight and space saving design. These connectors feature 3 point bayonet lock system and mismating is eliminated via 5 keyway design.
  • Series I features lightweight and space saving design. These connectors come with contact protection via 100% scoop-proof design which prevents bent pins and short circuits during mating. These connectors also feature 3 point bayonet lock system and mismating is eliminated via 5 keyway design.

M83723Y hermetic connector

Options:

  • MIL 83723 approved
  • Y and YE class

The Martec MIL-DTL 83723, Series III family of connectors includes styles from Pyle National. These have proven technology for severe environments and are widely used in commercial and military aerospace markets. These connectors incorporate many advantages features, such as unique threaded coupling mechanism that provides grater resistance to decoupling.

This coupling mechanism eliminates the need for safety wiring and tends to couple during vibration – thus offering the user added assurance and a margin of safety.

  • High temperature hermetics with ranges up to 200°C and 260°C
  • Styles are available in threaded receptacles with solderwell or flat eyelet termination. PC tail designs are available on request
  • Designed for environmental moisture sealing with fused compression glass sealed inserts

Mil-DTL-26482 hermetic connector

Options:

  • Series I and II
  • Fully qualified
  • Commercial equivalents available

Martec’s PT series and 62GB series offered under 26482 Series I specifications, with temperature range from -55°C to 125°C
602GB series offered under 26482 Series II specifications, with temperature range from -65°C to 200°C.
Shell style for both series available: Square flange, Jam Nut or Solder Mount, alternatively also available as bespoke design flange
Contact terminations available: Eyelet, Solder bucket, alternatively other non-standard pin termination also available at request.

  • These miniature circular hermetic connectors offer twice the number of contacts in just half the size of as standard connector
  • They feature robust bayonet locking mechanism and are intermatable

Mil-C-50515 hermetic connector

Martec’s 172GB series are hermetically sealed connectors which are designed to meet the mechanical and environmental requirements of MIL-C-50515. These connectors are available as receptacles which fixed pin contacts which are fused into a glass dielectric insert. This insert is in the form of a single piece glass giving improved dielectric performance over individual bead insert designs.

  • Available with mild or stainless steel housing
  • Temperature range for mild steel housing from -55°C to 125°C and for stainless steel housing from -55°C to 200°C
  • Contact terminations available: Eyelet, Solder bucket, alternatively other non-standard pin termination also available at request
  • Thermocouple contacts in Alumel and Chromel also available on a limited number of inserts
